Its valentine's day again. wow...it's a new year and how about looking at it from a different perspective this year huh? We have all heard how it all started and blah..blah..blah.......if your new year resolution is about breaking out of your old routine then you are in the right place. Why would you be giving your loved ones gifts only once in a year????? seriously....change that routine. celebrate your love for your lady or man including your Children and friends EVERY DAY! period. Womlays is about sharing anything from me to the rest of you out there. so here we go......Have you heard about thousands of people gathered to watch a man disembark from a canoe.....???oh yeah sounds silly and funny. but i am telling you its a very spectacular event people from all over come to this part in western Zambia to see that man in a ceremony called Ku omboka. Ku omboka means coming out of the water. So this ceremony takes place every year because the place where this man lives(king of the lozi people) is usually flooded. The event is so so colourful you dont wanna miss it.The Kuomboka ceremony is quite a big deal and something definitely worth seeing. You haven’t been there?
